| Observação: Light brown sandy soil. Low arboreal xeromorphic "cerrado" woodland, formed of small trees and scattered shrubs. Sparse taller trees show that area was originally the taller woodland form, `cerradão". Shrub ca. 2,5 m tall. Leaves with red midrib. Peduncles & calyx dark red. Petals a slightly yellowish white. Filaments cream, anthers yellow, style yellowish-green, stigma light green, ovary yellow. |
