This Laboratory makes part of Embrapa vegetal quarantine process, where the procedures relacionated to the nematological analysis of imported germplasm are listed below: Receiving of imported plant germplasm material and/or samples;
	Register of plant germplasm samples, in the Laboratory; Analysis through different extraction methods of nematodes; Identification of detected plant-parasitic nematode, by genus and species (whenever possible count with the presence of adult pests);
	Preservation of detected plant-parasitis nematode, on permanent slides; Taking the decision about the prescription of infected germplasm treatment, objecting its eradication (whenever possible); Emission of the nematological certificate;
	The commercial imported samples, intercepted by brazilian customs, have to follow the same procedures for germplasm analysis, except for treatment. The commercial exported samples have to follow the same procedures for germplasm analysis, except for treatment.
